Nigerian popular musician, Davido, has taken to  Twitter  to announce that his fiancee Chioma has tested positive for coronavirus. The singer posted Friday on his  verified Twitter account  saying the mother of his child tested positive despite not showing any symptoms. ” Hey everyone ! I came back recently from America after canceling the tour. My fiancé Chioma also came back from London recently with our baby. The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Anambra State has called on the governor of the state, Willie Obiano to recruit more medical personnel in the state to assist in battling the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. He made his known via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday. “My son has tested positive for coronavirus,” he tweeted. According to the Guardian, Nigeria has recorded its first coronavirus death. “Former managing director of the Petroleum Pricing Monitoring Corporation Aisha Suleiman Achimugu has died of coronavirus, multiple sources said on Monday” read the report. Churches in Lagos on Sunday experienced a shutdown on activities following the directive from the state government that all religious and social gatherings should not exceed 50 persons. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, moments ago, observed a minute silence to honour victims of Sunday’s Abule-Ado explosion in Lagos State.
